Crawlability & Technical Access
Making sure nothing, robots rules, JS rendering, indexation issues, blocks Google or any AI crawler from reading the content that should be cited.
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Agency
Be the source AI cites. Not just the page it lists. Best-practice fundamentals, no spammy tactics, speculative hacks, or AI snake oil.
The basics
Generative Engine Optimization, GEO, is the practice of positioning a brand to be surfaced and cited inside AI-generated answers. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode. Rather than only ranking in the traditional blue links.
As things stand today, AI Overviews and AI Mode retrieve from Google's core Search index, then generate an answer from what's already crawlable, indexed, and ranking well. There's no separate AI algorithm to game. The fundamentals that earn strong SEO are the same fundamentals that earn AI citations. GEO tunes those fundamentals toward one goal, being the source cited, not just the page clicked.
The method
Grounded in what Google has actually published about how AI Overviews retrieve and cite content, not speculation.
Making sure nothing, robots rules, JS rendering, indexation issues, blocks Google or any AI crawler from reading the content that should be cited.
Structuring who you are, what you do, and what you're an authority on so it reads clearly to both search engines and AI models.
Built to pass Google's own helpful-content bar. Original analysis, not a rewrite of what's already ranking. Google penalizes the scaled, low-effort version. Eveko's content marketing work feeds this directly.
The sourcing, credentials, and trust markers that make a page worth citing, not just worth indexing.
Monitoring where you actually show up. Search Console's Generative AI performance report for Google's surfaces, plus direct monitoring across ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
The shift
More searches are ending inside an AI-generated answer before a user ever scrolls to a website. Google's own AI Overviews and AI Mode, along with ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, are becoming a real discovery layer sitting in front of the open web. Brands that aren't structured to be cited inside that layer are invisible at exactly the moment a prospect is asking the question they're best positioned to answer.
Right now, most of what earns a citation in that layer is the same work that earns a ranking in Google, done well. That part doesn't get said out loud very often, because a mysterious new discipline is easier to sell at a premium than an extension of the SEO you already need. Eveko runs GEO and SEO as one engagement, not two invoices from two vendors chasing two different reports.

Free GEO AuditThe deliverables
All of this is in scope. What gets worked first comes out of discovery. Being cited for a category question and being cited at the moment someone is choosing a vendor are different goals, and they don't share a starting point.

Free GEO AuditIn their words
David and Eveko Search were ahead of the curve on GEO before most agencies knew what it meant. My clients show up in AI search results because he builds for it.
Katherine Gray
Fractional CMO & Founder, KGRAY Marketing
AI Overviews cite us roughly nine times more often than they did a year ago. Eveko Search built GEO into our strategy before most agencies understood why it mattered.

Senior Director, Marketing, LEARN Behavioral
Getting a large organization to act on something as new as GEO takes more than being right about it. David made the case to skeptical stakeholders in language they already used. Eveko Search clients get that same ability.
Bob Dudley
Senior Director Product Marketing, TransUnion
David and Eveko Search made sure we show up in AI search results before most of our competitors even understood GEO. That head start mattered for us. When a parent asks ChatGPT or an AI Overview which products to trust, being the brand that gets named is worth more than any ad we have run.

Questions
Last updated September 2026. AI search moves fast, we revisit often.
Sometimes. You may see it called AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) or AI SEO. Different vendors, same underlying idea, positioning content to be surfaced and cited by AI systems. Eveko uses GEO because it's the term that's stuck with Google and most of the industry.
A page can sit on page one of Google and still never get named inside an AI answer. Ranking is a spectrum, position one through ten. Getting cited tends to work more like a yes-or-no. GEO is built around that different bar.
No. A site with weak technical SEO won't earn AI citations no matter how well the content reads, since AI engines still have to crawl, index, and trust the page first. Budget for GEO as work layered on top of solid SEO, not a separate track with its own line item.
Not as of today. Google's own guidance on AI features says no special markup or content "chunking" is required, standard crawlability and indexing are what matter. That could change as AI engines mature, but treating an llms.txt as a magic switch is more marketing than substance.
Not quite, they're not built the same way. Google's AI features run on the same index as regular Search, so they're measurable through the same channels. ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity are more closed off, no dashboard into why they cited something, so those get worked through direct testing instead. That balance could shift as platforms open up more.
Your brand named inside an AI answer to a question you didn't pay to be in front of. Tracked over time as citation frequency across the engines that matter most to your audience, not a single vanity metric.
Similar timeline to SEO. Weeks to see technical fixes take effect, longer for authority and content signals to compound. No one, including Google, lets anyone promise a specific timeline or ranking, Google's own guidelines on hiring an SEO warn against providers who do. The honest answer is steady, measured progress, not a guarantee.
Usually less than people expect as a standalone line item, because most of GEO is work that strengthens SEO Services at the same time rather than running beside it. What moves the number is how much entity and content foundation has to be built before citation work has anything to stand on. The free audit scopes that first, then it gets quoted.
No. Any brand with content Google can crawl and index has a shot at being cited. The same authority signals that help a niche company rank for its category are what get it named when an AI engine answers a question about that category.
